This is my third year using the Garden Patch Growboxes. I can personally recommend them. They have produced beautiful vegetables for me EVERY time. The amount of work they save you from doing is huge. Just keep the water basin full and that’s it!
I have been using grow boxes for so long I can’t remember when I started. I had nine boxes in service and planted every year. Now that I am moving into an apartment I am downsizing to three boxes on my balcony. I just received my new boxes and will plant them soon. Expecting a great season.
I love the two that I have, and get so many vegetables from both. Easy to use and even easier to water. I love them so much, that I got 2 more for mom. Life is easier with a Grow Box.
I purchased ten grow boxes a year ago and was amazed at the quantity of vegetables I was able to harvest all season long–so much so that I ought some for my daughter this year!
It took more than 45 minutes to finally get the upper box halfway seated into the lower box because the lower box is badly warped. Whether you seat it end to end or front to rear or vice versa when you get one side seated it pops right when you try to seat the other side. I finally got the upper completely inserted into the lower, but with a large gap all the way around. I placed a board across the upper box, placed an iron skillet atop that, then stacked dumbbells in the skillet. I then forced the upper further into the lower. Four days later there is still a small gap between the upper and lower. I’ve not yet taken off the weights. So, I don’t know if it will remain seated when I do. But your product is not something I’d buy again.
I live in a condo, but have a huge deck. I’ve been using my grow box for six years with wonderful results. I just ordered a second box for this year’s crop!
Easy to set up and did the support myself also. Tomatoes were planted Feb. 10th and they are putting out fruit. They are beautiful and healthy. I did add dolomitic lime about 1 1/2 cups to the soil at the half way mark. I’ve got better bush and sweet 100’s tomatoes. Thanks Grow Box !
